ALPHA POWER TECHNOLOGY

Fast Power. Long Lasting Grit.

PowerBridge Core

The dual-foam construction creates quick rebound while keeping contact solid and connected through the paddle. You get easier access to pace on serves, drives, counters, and putaways without the hollow feel of a traditional core.

2000+ RPM SPIN SURFACE

Embedded carborundum grit gives the carbon face extra bite at contact, helping the ball stay on the surface long enough to shape aggressive spin. The result is more confidence on topspin drives, roll volleys, slices, and attacking shots.
Measured during VANWIN player testing.

BUILT TO LAST

The Alpha Power has been put through 700+ days of extended player testing to evaluate how the core and surface hold up over time. It is designed to maintain a stable, consistent response through repeated play, so the paddle keeps feeling familiar rally after rally.
Validated through long-term player testing.

POWER — Definition: pace you don’t have to force.

Some points are won by patience. Others are won the moment you see an opening.

Alpha Power is built for players who want to turn that opening into pressure — harder drives, quicker counters, heavier topspin, and more confidence finishing the point. Its full-foam PowerBridge Core delivers fast rebound without the hollow, harsh response that can make power paddles difficult to control.

The raw carbon face with embedded carborundum grit adds bite at contact, helping you shape topspin drives, roll volleys, slices, and attacking serves. And because the paddle stays solid through impact, you can swing aggressively without feeling disconnected from the ball.

Power. Spin. Stability. Connected Feel.

This is the paddle for players who want to attack first — without giving up the touch needed to stay composed at the kitchen.

Load. Strike. Finish.

More aggressive paddle

This paddle's most definitive feature is the amount of grit - it will be favored by players wanting lots spin.I've got 20+ hours with it and the face is holding up fine (the grit isn't wearing noticeably).I also believe this is much more of a power rather than control paddle ... I had to soften up my drops and resets to keep pop-ups down compared to other paddle I've used recently (I'm much more of a control player).Grip is good and a bit of the smaller side - I will add the included extra grip tape to increase the width a bit.Edge guard is holding up fine.Overall seems like a decent paddle in the $100 range.

Great pickleball paddle for spin, control, and a softer feel

This is a really nice pickleball paddle for players who want more control and spin without a harsh feel. The T700 carbon fiber face has a good textured surface, and it gives the ball a nice bite for topspin, slices, and controlled placement shots. It feels especially useful for dinks, resets, and third-shot drops where touch matters. I am relatively new to the sport but fellow players who have been playing longer say that this is a high-quality pickleball paddle.I also like the 16mm hybrid core because it has a softer, more dampened feel than some stiffer paddles. It helps reduce vibration and feels easier on the wrist and elbow during longer sessions. The elongated shape gives a little extra reach, and the paddle still feels quick enough at the net for hand battles. The grip is comfortable, and the overall build feels solid and well balanced. It's probably best for intermediate to advanced players who already have decent mechanics and want a paddle that rewards placement, spin, and touch instead of just raw power. It's admittedly a bit too advanced for me.Overall, this is a strong paddle with a nice combination of spin, control, reach, and comfort. Great option for serious rec play or tournament use.

Great paddle for my league play

The media could not be loaded.

I joined a Pickleball league this summer after playing for about 2 years now. I finally upgraded from my starter paddle I bought when I first got hooked. The Van Win T700 has been a total game changer, and I'm honestly a little annoyed I waited so long. Here are the pros:The spin is unreal. That embedded grit face actually does what it promises. I'm not a pro by any means (solid intermediate on a good day), but my dinks and drops have so much more bite now. The ball just grabs the surface. My league partner definitely noticed. It's easy on the arm. I play 2 or 3 times a week and my elbow used to ache after long sessions. The T700 carbon fiber has a nice soft feel on contact without giving up power, and I haven't had any of that nagging soreness since switching. I wear a compression sleeve, but it still feels better.Great sweet spot. For someone still working on consistency, the forgiveness on off-center hits is a huge confidence booster. Fewer missed shots, more rallies, way more fun.The one downside: The grip runs a touch thin for me. I prefer a bigger grip. I ended up adding an overgrip to get it feeling just right, which was a quick fix but something to know if you have larger hands or just like a wider handle. It does come with a small eraser pad (at least that is what I think it is). But, I still find a Magic Eraser to do the job better than anything when cleaning up my paddles.Bottom line: if you're an intermediate player who wants more spin and a comfortable feel without breaking the bank, grab this one. It's made my league nights way more competitive. Highly recommend!

Vine Review: Pickleball Paddle – T700 Carbon Fiber with Embedded Grit, 16mm EPP Foam + EVA Hybrid CoreI’m still fairly new to pickleball and don’t play often yet, but I wanted to pick up a quality paddle as I try to make it more of a hobby. I haven’t found a regular partner to play with, so I haven’t been able to fully test features like spin, control, or long-term performance, but my first impressions are very positive. This paddle immediately feels like a major upgrade compared with the other paddle I own. The elongated design gives it a larger hitting surface, which I really like because I have bigger hands. The handle is comfortable, well cushioned, and feels secure. The overall build quality feels excellent, with a sturdy, premium feel that matches the advertised T700 carbon fiber construction and 16mm EPP foam + EVA hybrid core. The textured carbon fiber surface with embedded grit is designed to help with spin and ball control, and while I haven’t had enough playing time to personally confirm how much it improves spin, the materials feel like they are built for a more advanced player. The larger paddle face and different hitting surface also make it feel more versatile than my other paddle, which is helpful since I sometimes need to lend a paddle to someone who doesn’t have one.I also appreciate the included extras. It appears to come with a paddle surface maintenance tool (similar to sandpaper) and extra grip tape, which are thoughtful additions that help with keeping the paddle in good condition and customizing the grip.Compared with my other paddle, this one feels bigger, better made, and more like a serious piece of equipment rather than a basic starter paddle. My only hesitation is that I haven’t been able to fully evaluate the advanced performance claims yet because I’m still learning the sport and don’t have consistent play time. However, based on the materials, comfort, design, and overall quality, this looks like an excellent choice for players who want a durable paddle that can grow with their skills.

Super light and easy in the hand

This is a very nice pickleball paddle. It's noticeably lighter in the hand than my other medium-priced paddles. I'm not an expert when it comes to the sport but it does feel like the light of the paddle the less fatigue you'll get as the day goes on.I do also feel that sometimes there's potentially a need for a slightly heavier paddle depending on the type of game that you're playing an your opponents. This is definitely a great paddle to have in my bag for any occasion. It came packaged nicely and included a scrubbing pad for scuffs. It also included the ubiquitous tape that goes around the edge to prevent scrapes but it didn't have any adhesive material on it so I'm not sure how to use it. I've looked it up many times and couldn't find any answers. The paddle provides a really nice solid pop when the ball is hit and it doesn't seem to have any dead spots or weak spots.Overall I really like this paddle and only give it 4 out of 5 stars because the scuff tape doesn't have any way to stick and I feel it could be a little bit more better value for the money.

Great paddle for intermediate players wanted something more!

Pickleball has become incredibly popular, and one thing I've noticed is that there are a surprising number of differences between paddles that might initially look almost identical. Materials, surface texture, thickness, weight, and handle design can all affect how a paddle feels during play. This VANWIN paddle has several interesting features, including a T700 carbon fiber face, silicon carbide grit surface, and 16mm EPP foam hybrid core. The carbon fiber construction is one of the main selling points. Carbon fiber is commonly used in performance-oriented pickleball paddles because it can provide a responsive hitting surface while maintaining a relatively lightweight design. The textured silicon carbide grit is another interesting feature because surface texture can influence how effectively a player generates spin. For players who like adding topspin or controlling the placement of their shots, paddle texture is certainly worth considering. The 16mm core thickness is another specification that caught my attention. Thicker paddle cores are often associated with a softer feel and greater emphasis on control compared with thinner, more power-oriented designs. Of course, the overall performance depends on the entire paddle construction, not just the core thickness. The EPP foam hybrid core is an interesting design choice, and I would be particularly interested in how it affects vibration, responsiveness, and consistency during play.I also appreciate that this paddle is marketed with competitive specifications rather than simply being a basic recreational paddle. That said, I would recommend verifying the exact model's current USA Pickleball approval status if you intend to use it in sanctioned tournament play. A product title mentioning USAPA doesn't automatically guarantee that a particular paddle is currently approved for every competitive event.Overall, this paddle has an appealing combination of materials and design features for someone interested in improving their pickleball equipment. The T700 carbon fiber face, textured surface, and thicker hybrid core make it worth considering for players who value control and spin potential. As with any paddle, personal preference plays a big role, so grip comfort, balance, and how it actually performs during play are ultimately what matter most.

Nice paddle

Daniel Winans

Please let me give praise to the customer service department of this company.
I really like the pop and speed that I get off of it. Well I received the paddle but it didn’t come with the over grips or the eraser.

Hi Daniel, We're very sorry that your Alpha Power arrived without the two overgrips and paddle eraser that should have been included.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention! We've reached out to you directly and would be happy to send the missing accessories at no additional cost.
We sincerely apologize for the oversight and appreciate the opportunity to make things right.

I received a free Alpha Power paddle in exchange for sharing my thoughts. I'm trying hard to give an unbiased review, and that wouldn't be complete without this disclosure. Gary, the owner, asked me to make sure I disclose I got the paddle for free, and that he'd welcome both positive and negative feedback. That's pretty stand-up. Now onto the review.

TLDR; my observations after 10+ hours. This paddle has high power and pop and rips spin. It's really fun, and not difficult to control, but it ain't for beginners. It hits with a satisfying, deep, loud, thonk. What separates it from other power paddles is its unique feel...to me it's soft and hollow. It doesn't feel like Luzz Canon (Gen3), it doesn't feel like the boomstick (stiff and hollow), the coral pro (soft and dense) or any other paddle I've tried. Only time will tell if the enhanced grit maintains its great spin performance, lots of companies are still trying to figure it out.

Other random thoughts in no particular order...

The unboxing experience was great, with a paddle eraser and 2 overgrips. Much better than the paddle-in-an-envelope experience that I'm used to, but I have a gripe. I was looking forward to using the overgrips because they are dry, not tacky, which I prefer, but sadly they were useless. No grip at all, smooth and slippery to the touch. I didn't even bother to install them. Gary heard that feedback so hopefully they'll give better grips in the future.

I played this alongside a few different paddles. It has similar power to a Luzz Canon, and more than the Coral Pro and the Friday Aura (as expected). It had higher pop than all of those. I could control it but I had to think about it, just hold the paddle and let it do the work.

It had a lot of spin, I could drive really hard and it would dip and stay in consistently. I heard my opponents say in frustration "I thought that was going to go out" multiple times. However after a few games I noticed the face was getting a little less rough. That didn't affect the spin as far as I could tell, but only time will tell if spin will degrade over time. Jury is out, same with on a lot of durable grit paddles these days.

At this budget price point, I think it's a high performing power paddle worth trying. Especially for the rare soft hollow feel.

Carbon Fiber EPP Foam Core Pickleball Paddle

This product Is a carbon fiber EPP foam core USAPA approved pickleball(PB) paddle for advanced players. This 16mm paddle is elongated and great for players using top spin and who seek a lot of power from the paddle's sweet spot. Its embedded face grit surface holds spin for months and rewards placement and technique over raw power. This paddle is ideal for the player who is developing better shot-making skills. The EPP core dampens vibration for arm comfort, allowing for longer sessions which is helpful for building consistency. This paddle is lightweight allowing you to be quicker when playing at the net. This is a forgiving paddle because the sweet spot is large enough to help with off-center shots while you're still improving your skills. I would recommend this product and I would purchase it again.
