This paddle's most definitive feature is the amount of grit - it will be favored by players wanting lots spin.I've got 20+ hours with it and the face is holding up fine (the grit isn't wearing noticeably).I also believe this is much more of a power rather than control paddle ... I had to soften up my drops and resets to keep pop-ups down compared to other paddle I've used recently (I'm much more of a control player).Grip is good and a bit of the smaller side - I will add the included extra grip tape to increase the width a bit.Edge guard is holding up fine.Overall seems like a decent paddle in the $100 range.

I joined a Pickleball league this summer after playing for about 2 years now. I finally upgraded from my starter paddle I bought when I first got hooked. The Van Win T700 has been a total game changer, and I'm honestly a little annoyed I waited so long.Here are the pros:The spin is unreal. That embedded grit face actually does what it promises. I'm not a pro by any means (solid intermediate on a good day), but my dinks and drops have so much more bite now. The ball just grabs the surface. My league partner definitely noticed.It's easy on the arm. I play 2 or 3 times a week and my elbow used to ache after long sessions. The T700 carbon fiber has a nice soft feel on contact without giving up power, and I haven't had any of that nagging soreness since switching. I wear a compression sleeve, but it still feels better.Great sweet spot. For someone still working on consistency, the forgiveness on off-center hits is a huge confidence booster. Fewer missed shots, more rallies, way more fun.The one downside: The grip runs a touch thin for me. I prefer a bigger grip. I ended up adding an overgrip to get it feeling just right, which was a quick fix but something to know if you have larger hands or just like a wider handle.It does come with a small eraser pad (at least that is what I think it is). But, I still find a Magic Eraser to do the job better than anything when cleaning up my paddles.Bottom line: if you're an intermediate player who wants more spin and a comfortable feel without breaking the bank, grab this one. It's made my league nights way more competitive. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice pickleball paddle. It's noticeably lighter in the hand than my other medium-priced paddles. I'm not an expert when it comes to the sport but it does feel like the light of the paddle the less fatigue you'll get as the day goes on.I do also feel that sometimes there's potentially a need for a slightly heavier paddle depending on the type of game that you're playing an your opponents. This is definitely a great paddle to have in my bag for any occasion.It came packaged nicely and included a scrubbing pad for scuffs. It also included the ubiquitous tape that goes around the edge to prevent scrapes but it didn't have any adhesive material on it so I'm not sure how to use it. I've looked it up many times and couldn't find any answers.The paddle provides a really nice solid pop when the ball is hit and it doesn't seem to have any dead spots or weak spots.Overall I really like this paddle and only give it 4 out of 5 stars because the scuff tape doesn't have any way to stick and I feel it could be a little bit more better value for the money.

I haven’t used my pickleball paddle yet but I am super impressed with it. It is extremely well-made and is super lightweight. It comes with two extra grip wraps, what I believe is a cleaning sponge for the paddle, and a nice carry bag. I’ve had a chance to hit a ball against the garage a bit and it feels great. I have good control of the ball and the spin is excellent. I will be using it next week in games and I’m looking forward to trying it out. Will come back and update my post if I have anything to add!

Really interesting texture on the raw carbon hyrbid face. This texture is sort of like an emory board. Really Really fine texture but you could sand something with it. This allows for ridiculous grip on the ball to put some sick spin on it. Boxed and presented well, could make a great gift. This is a good intermediate to experienced player paddle. Probably not for beginners but you could work your way up with it.Design is attractive with a more pro look. Cost to value is getting kind of questionable but you are getting the name brand features that cost three times as much locally.

This is the best paddle we've ever tried. I love how light it is. The materials feel very sleek and good quality, with the handle being very comfortable to hold and grippy with a well-balanced weight. The handle is also extra long which is much more comfortable for me. It also came with some extra grip tape (2 packs), but not in white, just black. I appreciate that it came with a nice neoprene cover as well. I'm pretty sure my husband is going to grab this one from me so I might need to pick up a second!

Arrived quickly. I was impressed with its styling and how it is a double walled paddle. It feels lightweight yet is powerful. It came with a white grip wrap on the paddle, but also had two extra black wraps. This is not your average pickleball paddle for sure. It is a little pricey though.
